TNT: A Tactical Network Test Platform to Evaluate Military Systems Over Ever-Changing Scenarios

This paper addresses the challenge of testing military systems and applications over different communication scenarios with both network conditions user data flows changing independently. We assume that developed to handle ever-changing are more likely be reliable robust during real operations. Therefore, we propose Tactical Network Test (TNT) platform automate evaluation radios using a reproducible test methodology. TNT has four main goals (i) creation QoS-constrained flows; (ii) execution models change conditions; (iii) automation experiments quantify performance scenarios; (iv) monitoring quantitative metrics performing analysis. Our was used execute in VHF by sending uniformly distributed seven scenarios, either generated stochastic model or mobility models. The experimental results discuss system’s analysis metrics, scenario characterization metrics.
